Introduction The Country House of Vilanova , in Remesar (A Estrada), is a beautiful building which is over 2 hundred years old. It has been just restored for rural tourism, combining its history with practicality and comfort. For example, the ground floor is fully adapted to the needs of the handicapped.
How to get there There are two ways to reach the house, from the N-525 or the N-640. If you take the N525 (Santiago to Ourense road), at Loimil, by the petrol station and the "Emigrante" restaurant, take a turning to the centre of the hamlet. Continue to the hamlet of Remesar. When you reach the church in Remesar you will be able to see the Country House of Vilanova. Turn left at the next turning, then take the next left and the next left again. If you take the N-646 (the Chapa to A Estrada and Pontevedra road), take the turning at the "O Cazador" restaurant (near the Pena do Foxo, km 195/196).
